Your journey begins in Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest protected areas. Here, vast open plains set the stage for sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many more species. The scenic Galana River winds through the park, providing a dramatic and picturesque backdrop for your game drives.
From there, you’ll venture into Tsavo West National Park, celebrated for its rugged terrain and striking scenery. This park is home to the famous “red elephants,” big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as impressive natural attractions including the crystal-clear Mzima Springs and the volcanic Chyulu Hills.
Your safari continues to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli offers exceptional opportunities to observe large elephant herds and predators like lions and cheetahs, all set against the unforgettable backdrop of the snow-capped mountain.
Next, you’ll visit Lake Nakuru National Park, a vibrant sanctuary known for its spectacular flamingo populations, thriving rhino sanctuary, Rothschild’s giraffes, and diverse birdlife. A game drive around the lake allows you to experience the famous “pink shores” created by thousands of flamingos.
Finally, your journey culminates in the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the world-famous Great Migration. Witness millions of wildebeest and zebras as they cross the Mara River, and track predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. You will also have the chance to visit a traditional Maasai village for an enriching cultural experience.
